Mika is an exceptional teacher that I would recommend to any English speaker interested in learning Japanese. She's very engaged, explains the material thoroughly, and provides lots of helpful feedback. More than that, she's willing to go the extra mile and provide students with quite a bit of useful material free of charge. Something I was particularly grateful for was a Google Doc she made before my trip to Japan a few months ago which included grammar and phrases that were more refined and trip focused than the material you find in all of the popular Japanese textbooks. I wound up downloading to my phone and referring to it throughout my trip. Just a great teacher all around.

Mika先生 is great! It was really helpful to use the textbook together, and she provided slides of her own as well. The lesson was really fun and enjoyable overall and I can already tell that the new vocabulary and grammar I learned will be easy to remember thanks to her lesson.

As usual, Mika Sensei's lesson was fun and very helpful! Even though I struggled with directions in Japanese (I struggle with them in English too...), Mika Sensei patiently worked with me until I understood and I really appreciate that.

先生はいつも優しくてプロで、毎回の会話を通じて、自分の会話力が上達していると実感しています。 また、ビジネスの先輩として、日本の職場マナーやメールの書き方を丁寧に教えてくださり、心より感謝しています!☺️💞💞 MIKA sensei is always kind and professional.I feel my spoken Japanese improving through lessons. Moreover,as a business mentor, she helps me learn a great deal about business manner and professional email writing.I am truly grateful for all her help!☺️💞💞

Mika-San is a great teacher. She provides a friendly environment where you can practice and get the positive encouragement you need to continue learning. Looking forward to my next lesson with Mika Sensei!

As usual, Mika Sensei's lesson was really helpful and helped me prepare for specific situations in Japanese. Also, she is really patient and kind as always!
