Hello, I’m Martin and I teach French, Tagalog and English. I love reading books, watching documentaries and playing video games. I am into photography, and I do yoga and bouldering too.
Having spent a huge chunk of my life learning foreign languages at home, at school and in different countries, I can assure you that I know the challenges a language learner faces. I've tried many techniques and strategies throughout my years of study, and I try my best to apply them in my teaching.

We will always start our meetings with a short introduction followed by a structured lesson on grammar, pronunciation, writing, etc. I create my lessons on a Google Document that we will use together in class. I use several materials for my lessons while also relying on my experience as a pedagogical engineer.

Martin is a great teacher who built up my Tagalog to where I had enough confidence to hold a conversation with my grandmother. His lessons are very well structured and as long as you do the homework you'll progress at a good pace.
