I had a wonderful trial class with Takako Sensei this morning. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to, making the conversation very natural.

優しい先生です！とても勉強になりました。 日本に「行った」ことがあります。——我去過日本 日本に「来た」ことがあります。——我來過日本 私はいつもこの二つの表現を間違っています。

I had a wonderful trial lesson with Takako Sensei today. She was very caring, patient, and so nice throughout our conversation. I can't wait to start my actual lessons with her!

Great teacher! Very delightful! Good for practicing speak

This was my first full lesson with Takako-sensei after a trial class, and I’m very grateful for her thoughtful approach. She took time to understand my goals and to figure out the best way forward, because my four skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—are at different levels. Choosing the right materials can be tricky when one skill is stronger than the others, but she patiently explored different options with me. I really appreciate how she listens and adapts so the lesson fits my needs.
