I'm Estela, a 34 year-old native Spanish speaker from Alicante, Spain. I started teaching Spanish online here on italki back in 2015. I studied education at university and then I did a Master's Degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I also hold a certificate of DELE and SIELE exam preparation. I speak English at a C1 level and I'm currently learning Italian. I enjoy playing video games on my PS5 and Nintendo Switch, watching series and movies and I absolutely love my dog Trufa (is a chocolate labrador retriever) ☺.

Estela, you are a fantastic teacher, able to be both academic and personal, comical and theory-expert, depending on the context. One hour sessions fly by as if they were thirty minutes. With your pedagogical education, experience, and ability to engage students, you motivate us not just to "practice", but to speak, to use the target language in whatever form, and to make Spanish a part of our lives.
