Hello, my name is Isidro! I am a native English speaker from the United States. I have lived most of my life in Chile, currently in the beautiful coastal city of Concón in the Valparaíso region. I currently teach English full-time to students and professionals, both online and in person. In addition to English, I am a fluent Spanish speaker.
I am a qualified ESL tutor with over 10 years of English teaching experience, and I hold a 120-hour Premier TEFL certificate. I have taught learners from all backgrounds and ages, whether for personal improvement or to achieve their desired scores on IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, or other international exams.Ja jako nauczyciel
I encourage a student-based learning approach. I like to first meet with my students and help assess their needs together. If a student wants to study a specific subject and aspect of English, I say go for it! The more a student is involved in their learning process, the more they feel a desire to continue to grow and achieve.

My lessons focus on understanding English from the inside out. We build a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary, not through memorization, but through real examples and conversation.
I use a combination of eliciting/communicative and structural approach. This basically means that we focus on having natural conversations and incorporate grammar structures, new vocabulary, and phrasal language as we talk. Then I show you how, why, and where to make changes and improve.
