Mahtab

As you can see, I took many lessons with Mahtaab and I can confidently say, that she is simply the best teacher I have ever encountered. She is always well prepared, but ready to change the schedule or topic, if she feels that it benefits her student. Most teachers like to follow their own pace or ideas about how their students should study and learn the given language, but Mahtaab is very flexible in the sense that she always takes your opinion and preferences seriously. Apart of the regular Farsi lessons, I can wholeheartedly recommend her Persian Literature classes. She is expert both in literature and linguistics, so if you ever contemplated about enjoying Persian poetry as it's finest, I recommend to try a literature class with her!

Absolutely fantastic! Learning Persian with Mahtab is genuinely fun. Not only is she very knowledgeable, she is supportive and bursting with positive energy. Our conversations are meaningful and organic, and if we ever run out of things to say, she is always prepared with another topic. She is also a great resource for Persian linguistics and Iranian literature and culture. I couldn't recommend Mahtab more highly!

I've been taking lessons with Mahtab for a year now and I feel quite qualified to comment on how great of a teacher she is. I've learnt so much and it really is down to her amazing help and support through the year - her teaching method is perfectly adapted to my way of learning and I trust in her capacity for adapting to the needs of any student she has, whether in Persian or English. She is always extremely positive and kind too, I've never turned up to a lesson where she hasn't been hugely positive and enthusiastic for teaching me something new. She is also so helpful outside of lessons and I can tell she is genuinely passionate about teaching and helping others. She is not just a good teacher but she also has a genuinely good soul and has come to be a wonderful and dear friend. متشکرم مهتاب!!!
