Safiya

Another enjoyable lesson with Safiya. Today we listened to a podcast. We listened to it once; I summarized what I understood, and then Safiya explained it more in depth. Then we listened to it once more with me pausing here and there to ask about words. I like this kind of listening exercise and I am grateful to Safiya for her flexibility. After the podcast we had a short conversation that ended up being mostly about music. I recommend Safiya as a teacher to others!

I enjoyed this lesson with Safiya. She is very flexible and open to doing what the student wants to do. I want to improve my conversation and listening skills, so that is perfect for my goals.

I enjoyed this lesson with Safiya. We used a list of questions on the topic "Would You Rather" and had a nice conversation. I appreciated how Safiya told some stories throughout the conversation when certain questions reminded her of her experiences, because the longer stories gave me a chance to practice listening comprehension.

I enjoyed this first lesson with Safiya. She is very kind and nice. It was an introductory lesson so we mainly chatted and she provided ideas for future lessons. I think I will enjoy studying with her.
