I am a native Mongolian speaker, born and raised in Mongolia. My education is rooted in Russian-language instruction, having attended Russian schools in Warsaw, Moscow, and Russian School #3 in Ulaanbaatar. I hold a BA in Russian Language Translation from Mongolian State University and completed an English language teacher training course in Ulaanbaatar. I have a PhD in Linguistics and am an Associate Professor, specializing in language education. I am fluent in Russian and have advanced English proficiency. As a specialist in teaching spoken Mongolian and vocabulary, I am also a co-author of Mongolia’s first English textbook series for schools. Ms Batjargal is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She explains the complicated Mongolian grammar very well, provides useful examples and knows how to motivate people. I already have three pages of notes with lots of new words after this lesson of 30 minutes, looking forward to the next one! Үнэхээр баярлалаа, багш аа! :-)

It was a very good introductory one-hour lesson. We worked on phonetics mainly this time. We used two handbooks: "Mongolian Colloquial Speech Language Exercises for Mongolian Language Students" by Bayarmaa Khalzaa and "Mongolian for Beginners" by the same author. I'm very excited to learn even more of real spoken Mongolian in next classes.
