I'm from Los Angeles, CA and I have 4 years of experience teaching English. I have worked with English learners from over 15 countries! I'm also a certified American Accent and Pronunciation Specialist!
I love learning about culture and history from all over the world, and I got my Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Middle Eastern Studies! I am passionate about learning languages myself, especially with the comprehensible input method. I speak English, Spanish, and Arabic!
In my free time, I love to explore my city, hang out with my cats, read novels and books about social science, and watch movies!
I am a curious and conversational person! I’ll ask you a lot about yourself, and your interests and opinions. My favorite moments are when I can make my students laugh!
I use the General American Accent in my sessions and I speak very clearly for English learners. I can adjust based on my student's needs. I can detect common grammar and pronunciation issues, which are unique to speakers of different languages.
I can also speak faster and more casually for those who want to learn native speech and slang in my Los Angeles, California accent!
