Great lesson with Chithra! We reviewed the rules we learned for "to have" and learned an additional rule (related to "being sick"). Chithra had me translate many sentences from English to make sure that I understood how to do it. Chithra makes good use of example sentences and does a good job of planning future lessons!

Great lesson with Chithra! We reviewed and corrected the sentences that I translated from English. After that, we continued learning about "I have" and the difference between "I have (a thing)" and "I have (a person)". Chithra asked me many questions to make sure that I understood the concept. Chithra is very positive and upbeat, and happy to go back and review anything I need until I understand and can use the grammar/vocab!

Chithra realized that there were some important concepts that I was struggling with, so we reviewed those. It was good judgement on Chithra's part to review instead of moving to new material, which I thought was the right approach!

After that, we learned about the grammar for "to have/to not have". We finished the lesson with a review by making sentences using prepositions and possessive pronouns.
