Hi, I’m Jericho! I’m a native English speaker from Toronto, Canada, and I'm also fluent in French. I've had the privilege of teaching and tutoring on iTalki since 2017, coming from a background of arts, social service work, and literature and philosophy studies. I’m passionate about music, I play both electric and acoustic guitar, and I enjoy composing, performing, and making music. Health and fitness is also a big part of my life, as I enjoy working out and going to the gym. I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and learning all sorts of things that allow me to grow as a person. I’m very curious and I enjoy deep conversations about virtually any topic. My experience teaching on iTalki since 2017 has shaped me into the teacher I am today, thanks to all of the wonderful people I've had the joy of meeting and serving over the years. I've helped many people around the world improve conversational fluency, understand and polish English grammar, reach and surpass IELTS scores, and simply gain confidence. Learning and practicing doesn’t have to be overly complicated. Speaking is always priority number one. Conversation practice is essential to better spoken language skills, finding and fixing mistakes, and becoming more confident. It's important to track progress and keep a history of what we do together, and for this, I use Google Docs so we can have all of our notes in one place. Beyond that, we have a large variety of language-learning resources and tools available to us, so our options are endless. I really enjoy my lessons with Jericho. He tailors them around my needs and goals. We talk about everything; from daily life to political stuff. If he notice that I struggle with a specific topic, he explains it to me so I can use the grammar in the correct form. Besides, I appreciate quality of the sound and of the video, which is primordial to learn a language. Jericho is a very kind teacher that I highly recommend.

I'm very sorry. I didn't know there were classes yesterday. It's my fault. This class will be skipped. Yesterday, I packed my luggage and moved to the new hotel. I had no idea there were classes at all. I'm extremely sorry.
