I've been learning Korean with Claire for over 3 months and I want to continue learning from her. Her classes are always warm and fun and she gives me so many examples that are relevant and used in everyday conversations.

What a fun class! It’s always a pleasure to chat with Claire about things happening in our lives, share experiences, and talk through our opinions and preferences. The conversations feel natural and easy, while still being very helpful for learning. She gives great recommendations for music and dramas, and I really appreciate how she explains Korean culture and current topics. Even without traveling, I still feel connected to the culture through our lessons. Claire is wonderful at helping me express ideas I’m not sure how to say, introducing useful patterns and phrases so I can communicate more clearly. We also practiced talking about what we can and can’t do, exploring different scenarios in a relaxed, friendly way. Her classes are casual, engaging, and effective, and they’ve helped me grow more confident while working toward my goals. I always look forward to our lessons!

This is my second lesson with Claire and I love how comfortable she makes me feel, and how much I can communicate. She is very good at judging my level and speaking with grammar and vocabulary that is just right, so I feel that I'm learning but it's not overwhelming.

Today I learnt about basic restaurant conversation in Korean. It was fun. I am excited to use the sentences when i visit a restaurant in Korea this weekend. I also learnt the Korean words for body parts. Claire explains very calmly and teaches in a way that I do not want the class to end. 😋

Supportive, clear, and great for building confidence! Another lovely class with Claire! I wanted to revisit a few topics, and she helped me feel much more confident with them by explaining everything clearly and guiding me step by step. She’s excellent at reinforcing what we’ve learned in a way that feels natural and easy to follow, and she always adapts the lesson to my level and goals. Our conversations flow comfortably, and she introduces useful patterns and vocabulary through real-life topics, which makes everything easier to remember and apply. Claire is incredibly patient, encouraging, and thoughtful, and she always provides helpful feedback that supports improvement while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. I also really appreciate how she takes notes so I can review what we covered later. I always leave her lessons feeling more confident, motivated, and excited to keep learning. I highly recommend her!

I loved chatting with Claire about K-dramas! She even gave me a recommendation that I’m sure will be my next favorite! Our conversations are always so enjoyable, and the time flies because she’s incredibly warm and easy to talk with. We also talked about Korean dialects, which was fascinating. Claire speaks clear, standard Korean, which is very helpful and feels familiar if you enjoy K-dramas or K-pop. She naturally includes opportunities to read Hangeul during the lesson and is great at breaking down tricky pronunciation so it becomes much clearer. I also appreciate how she explains the difference between formal patterns and everyday usage. One thing I really appreciate is how thoughtfully she supports learning. When I’m stuck, she gives me a moment or a gentle hint so I can recall the word myself, and then helps as needed, which really helps everything stick. Claire is always patient, kind, and encouraging, and I leave each lesson feeling happy and looking forward to the next one!
