She is the best teacher I’ve ever had! Our lessons focus on Business Korean, and I’m learning so many useful professional words and expressions that I can actually use in my workplace in Korea. If you’re looking for a qualified, patient, and supportive Korean teacher, I highly recommend her!

My lessons are always so fun! My vocabulary is pretty limited, but the teacher always helps me formulate a sentence. She asks questions to understand what I’m trying to say. We have many laughs when I tell stories. During the first half of the lesson, we free talk, and that’s a lot of fun. The second half is helpful because she shows me a presentation that she has made, so I get to learn new words and phrases. Although some weeks I struggle a lot and other weeks I can make long sentences, she doesn’t get upset with me. I struggle with numbers a lot, and although we have learned them, I make mistakes all the time. The teacher always gently corrects me, and she doesn’t get upset when I make mistakes. She is kind and knows that learning a language is hard because she is also learning different languages.

OMG! Amazing Korean class! I learnt so much :D and the fact that every lesson has been made perfectly based on my needs and speaking goals. Grateful! Can't wait for my next class!

In today’s lesson we learned about daily routines. 채언 let me make some sentences by myself using the new words and structures we learned. When I struggled with some words or structures, she helped me or wrote examples on the whiteboard. Again a valuable lesson.

In this lesson we reviewed our previous lesson and then continued learning some new vocabulary. I also like that we have some casual conversations during the lesson. It’s good practice and also fun.
