Hi there! I'm Bernie! I'm a naturally curious and creative person with a love for (creative) storytelling. Whether it's through theatre, film, or diving into spontaneous conversations, I’m always drawn to authentic human connection. My background in improv and performance fuels my passion for creativity, comedy, and quick thinking. I love making people laugh, asking good questions, and finding meaning in the everyday.

I currently have two happy years of full-time in-class teaching experience. I was teaching classes in the biggest language centre of my city, connected to the university and the government. Before that, I also did several teaching internships in high schools, alongside my Master's degree in teaching.
My lessons are relaxed, fun, and completely tailored to your goals and pace. Want to improve your conversation skills, grammar, or pronunciation? We’ll focus on what you need most. As a teacher, my approach is rooted in interaction, spontaneity, and realism. With a passion for and background in improv acting, I bring a dynamic and engaging energy to every class, using real-life situations and conversational scenarios to make the language come alive. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to use it, not just study it. I focus on creating a fun, supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and thinking on their feet.
