As an English/Turkish instructor, I encourage my students to make learning as fun as they can and to remind themselves of how and why learning the language. My short-term teaching purpose is to provide my students with the necessary vocabulary and grammar they learn in each level to harmonise these, especially with their writing and speaking skills, thanks to contextualized classes. My teaching style is rooted in both the Humanistic Approach and the Communicative Approach. My aim is to motivate them to acquire the language by lowering the ‘Affective Filter’ with the acceptance of making mistakes and positive reinforcement.
