Hello! My name is Kyle and I am here to help you along in your English language Journey! I was born in the United States and I have always been curious about different cultures and places since I was young. I have a degree in studio art, and I also hold certificates in horticulture (plant care) as well as teaching English. I love being a part of volunteer projects, and I love working creatively as I come from a background in the arts. I am also a language learner, so I understand the process of learning a language.

I have over 2 years of experience helping adult intermediate to upper intermediate learners achieve their English language goals. This means helping with things like confidence, reading skills, all the way to test prep for tests such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, CELPIP, as well as others. I have obtained my 120 hour CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. I have a passion for helping people open new doors in their world through the power of learning another language.

In my experience, the number one reason people do not succeed at their language goals is because they get discouraged or lose motivation. It is important to define why you are learning English, and keep this in mind as you learn. I am here to help you stay on track and even discuss why you may be feeling discouraged to help you stay confident and focused. It can be difficult at times, but what is important is that you don't give up! I am here to help! Consistency is key. My main focus is to help my students achieve fluency by working on reading, writing, and speaking skills, all of which help to improve confident language usage.
