I was born and raised in Seoul, so speaking standard Korean just comes naturally to me. I’ve always liked learning new languages simply because it’s fun. To me, studying a language shouldn’t feel like a chore or something stressful. I’ve helped many foreign friends with Korean. Sometimes by chatting, sometimes by fixing small pronunciation issues, or by explaining words they couldn’t quite get. Every class is a little different. With some students, I make short materials to go over grammar or vocabulary. With others, we practice by chatting about daily life or acting out little situations together. Sometimes we just talk about movies or dramas and pick up how people actually talk. I like it when students feel that learning Korean is more like playing a fun game than studying.
