Eseo 이서

That was another great lesson with Eseo. In a very short period of time I feel comfortable reading Hangul, thanks to the creative memory aids she provided and interesting material. She is also willing to adapt to my progress quickly, which makes the lessons even more enjoyable!

이서쌤 managed to seamlessly figure out my current Korean level even when I wasn’t sure my myself. Lessons have been a good mix of talking practice and new content/concepts. New content keeps things challenging but never in a way that gets you flustered, this prevents me falling back on my crutch of resorting to talking in English (although 이서쌤 is more than capable of talking about complex topics in English too). Notes are also provided after class for words or concepts that I may have gotten wrong or were introduced during the class, this is very useful for later review and allows me to incorporate new items in to my flashcard deck that I think I need to drill. Every lesson so far has been fun, interesting and passes by too quickly.

That was a great first lesson with 이서! She was incredibly well-prepared, and move at a speed that was perfect for my level. She was really adaptable and encouraging. Can't wait for the next one!
