Five lessons in with Lancer and I’ll definitely continue learning with her... ✨ She’s really good at understanding your level, areas you want to improve, and what you actually need help with, instead of just following a fixed lesson style. The lessons feel well balanced, not too easy until boring, but not too difficult until stressful either. Somehow just nice and keeps me motivated to continue. I also like that she adjusts to the student’s pace and goals. Plus she’s fun to learn with, super patient, and her English is excellent, which makes it especially comfortable for English/non-Chinese speakers starting their Chinese journey. Her pronunciation is also super clear and easy to follow. I personally really like both her standard American English and Chinese accent as well, very pleasant and nice to listen to as a learner! ❤️ Really hope she continues teaching for a long time because I genuinely enjoy her teaching style already... 😊⭐️

The lessons are easy to follow and understand. Lessons are very engaging and interactive. Mrs. Wang is very welcoming and supportive when you struggle with some portions and patiently helps you understand how to improve on it.

Lancer is an excellent Mandarin teacher. She has an extensive knowledge of Chinese language and culture and makes every lesson interactive and engaging. She is also flexible and adapts her teaching to match your learning style. I have studied Mandarin on and off for several years, and her approach stands out. She focuses on both comprehensive input and character recognition, something I wish more professors emphasized. Because of this, I’m now able to form full sentences instead of just short phrases, and I can understand entire sentences rather than only picking out a word or two. Her lessons combine several tools including PowerPoint, visual aids, YouTube, Quizlet, and audio exercises, which keeps the learning process dynamic and practical. I’m grateful I found her and plan to continue taking lessons with her long term. I highly recommend!!

Lancer is an ideal Chinese teacher. She is very structured, knowledgeable, and attentive (during and outside classes). I really appreciate her and I'm learning a lot!
