Hello! My name is Carin Fonseca, and I am a native Portuguese speaker from Portugal. I grew up in Portugal and also lived for five years in Luxembourg, where I obtained a diploma in Administration and Commerce.
Currently, I am studying Archaeology in France. I speak Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, and Crioulo, the native language of my parents’ country, and I have basic knowledge of german.
I am passionate about history, knowledge, and theories, and I enjoy discussing these topics during classes.
Outside of academics, I have practiced volleyball for four years and currently train in martial arts, which reflects my discipline and dedication.Ja jako nauczyciel
I have experience teaching children between the ages of six and eight, helping them learn and improve their Portuguese. I have also assisted people around me in developing their Portuguese skills in a more natural and confident way.
In addition, I have taught French — focusing on sentence construction and reading comprehension for teenagers — and have also given informal lessons in Portuguese geography and history to young adults.

My teaching style is fully personalized. Before each lesson, I always try to understand the student’s level, goals, and what they hope to achieve. Based on that, I adapt my approach and the materials used in class.
I also adjust my lessons according to age and interests: for children, I like to use games, images, or cartoons; for teenagers, I often include music, videos, or series; and for adults, I focus on real-life situations, conversation, or specific objectives such as work or travel.
My main goal is to make every class enjoyable, meaningful, and adapted to each student’s needs and personality.5.0
