Hello! My name is Joaquín, and I'm from Lima, Peru.
For the past six years, I've been living and traveling in Europe, discovering and learning from its people, its history, and its culture.
I'm passionate about the humanities, and this is reflected in how I dedicate my time: linguistics. This discipline has helped me understand many aspects hidden behind human language.
Reading is another of my passions: from Homer's Iliad to Cervantes' Don Quixote, by way of ancient Greek tragedies and the fascinating short stories of Borges. Currently, I am studying Linguistics and Applied Languages at the University of Cádiz, which has given me a broad and in-depth understanding of human language. In addition, I am taking a practical training course for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) teachers at the Higher Center for Modern Languages at the same university.
During the lessons, we will focus on improving details such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and listening comprehension, always taking into account the diverse cultural aspects of Spanish. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
As a tutor, I will create a personalized language profile for each student to address their individual needs and areas for improvement. My lessons are immersive and will be taught entirely in Spanish, using English as a supplementary language when necessary.
The lessons are geared towards students with an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish, allowing us to explore topics and issues that further refine language skills.
For the more advanced (and adventurous) learners, we can also delve into the magnificent and vast world of Spanish literature. Besides being a tutor, I'm also a happy and curious reader: poetry, short stories, novels... and even books about cities!Moje materiały dydaktyczne
