Hello there! Are you a professional aiming to perfect your English for more fluid interactions at the workplace? Or are you a non-native speaker seeking to learn and converse more easily in English for social or casual purposes? If you answered 'Yes' to any of these questions, then congratulations! You just found yourself an experienced and motivated tutor who is truly excited to help you meet your goal. My name is Darlington—researcher, educator, and language coach. For over six years, I have had the unique and humbling opportunity of helping several students attain their English learning goals. I hold an M.A. in Governance from the University of Passau, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Bologna. I have always believed that teaching is an art, and not a science. And if there is one thing my experiences have taught me, it is that no two students ever learn the same things the same way. Attempting to communicate information in a singular manner to learners with different receptive capabilities rarely yields effective results. My approach, therefore, has always been to tailor lessons to meet the specific learning goals and preferences of my students. I speak German (B2) and italian (B1), and love to play chess and scrabble in my pastime! I look forward to working with you on your language progression!
