I started with Mr. Mahmoud when I could only say very basic things in German. Now we're almost done with A1+ using the Begegnungen curriculum and I can't be happier with the results. I can confidently speak and understand both written and spoken German well and I'm looking forward to continue all the way to B1. Mr. Mahmoud has a unique, friendly, zero pressure and effective way of teaching that makes learning such a language like German a fun experience where I get to enjoy it and at the same time learn and practice the language perfectly.

Mahmud made me believe again in Arabic Teachers and simplifies the language to a great extent. I would move forward much quicker meet i him at the very beginning of my study. Thank God, i found such a Teacher.. شكرًا لك، يا أستاذي العزيز

Heute hatte ich meine erste Arabischstunde und davor wusste ich praktisch nichts über die arabische Sprache. Das Gespräch mit Mahmoud war sehr interessant und ich mochte besonders, dass er nicht nur die Sprache erklärt, sondern auch viel über die Geschichte und Kultur erzählt hat. Im Rahmen meines Studiums muss ich Grundkenntnisse in Arabisch erwerben und ich freue mich schon sehr auf diese Reise mit ihm. Für Anfänger absolut geeignet! :)

Mahmoud is an excellent teacher, who is not only patient but also able to quickly identify the needs of his students. I really enjoy learning from him as he teaches proactively with concise and to the point lesson content. Arabic is more challenging to learn by oneself and I believe that Mahmoud has helped me gain a basic understanding of Egyptian Arabic, that I would have struggled to attain by myself. He also speaks fluent German and English, which I found quite impressive and thus actually understands the needs of foreign language learners as well as our stumbling blocks. In short, I highly recommend this teacher!

Ich bin nach Ungarn umgezogen und seit einem Jahr lerne ich Ungarisch. Ich muss meine Deutschkenntnisse "erfrischen", da suche ich einen Job. Ürsprunglich wollte ich mit jemandem aus Ungarn Deutsch üben. Leider sogenannte "Lehrer" aus Ungarn sagten, dass es zu früh ist, mit einem ungarischen Lehrer zu lernen. Jetzt spreche ich besser Ungarisch also Deutsch. Mit Mohamud konnte ich problemlos kommunizieren, obwohl ich kein Arabisch spreche :) Ich gebe 10 Sterne :)

During this beginner's lesson, Mahmoud introduced new letters of the Arabic alphabet, using a combination of whiteboard demonstrations and typed pronunciation exercises to clarify each letter's form and relation to surrounding letters. Mahmoud has a special knack for finding entertaining words—often anglicisms—in order to make what would otherwise be an exercise in rote memorization fun and engaging. Recommend!
