I had my first session with Suhyun and it was really productive and fun! She took the time to get to know me, discuss my goals and assess my level. Since I mostly want to focus on daily speaking fluency, she plans to adapt the lessons to my needs from next week. I also really appreciated that she plan to type out the sentences and vocabulary I'm trying to say during class so I can review them later. Since my biggest challenge with Korean is learning and remembering new words, I feel like reviewing vocabulary this way (that came up naturally during our conversations) will make it much easier for me to remember and actually use the words later. I’m really looking forward to future lessons and feel like I’m going to learn a lot with her!

I had a really positive experience with this teacher. The lesson was focused on conversation, which made it very engaging and comfortable. At the beginning, the teacher assessed my language level, which helped guide the rest of the lesson in a very natural way. The conversation was fun and relaxed, and I felt encouraged to speak without pressure. I was able to practice my Korean a lot and express my thoughts more freely. The teacher was attentive, supportive, and gave helpful feedback throughout the lesson. Overall, it was an enjoyable and productive session. I feel more confident after the class and would definitely recommend this teacher to others who want to improve their speaking skills.

Reach my first milestone -15h Korean exposure with her!

Teacher Suhyun started the class with assessment and was prepared with her teaching materials. As an intermediate learner, she recommended a few ways to improve speaking. We also did free talking in Korean and the topic was fun. It was fun practicing Korean with her 😊
