Hallo, ich bin Thomas.
Nach meiner Zeit im Flugzeugbau habe ich über zehn Jahre die Welt in meinem Van bereist und dabei zwölf Länder durchquert – darunter Russland und Pakistan - bis nach Kanada und Mexiko, wo ich derzeit lebe.
In meinem Unterricht kombiniere ich Gespräche, Videos und alltagsnahe Themen, damit du Deutsch auf natürliche Weise lernst und sicher sprechen kannst. Dabei ist jede Stunde ein Mix aus Lernen, Lachen und *echter* Kommunikation. Trau dich, Fehler zu machen – hier geht’s ums **Sprechen**, nicht um Perfektion!

For 6 years I have been teaching German in 4 different countries; now based in Canada.
I am a very responsible, supportive and patient teacher. Teaching German is my passion, I love to smile with my students, dive with them into everyday topics, listen to their stories and offer solutions for existing language barriers.
I simply want us to have fun together, will spot and correct your mistakes when needed while you never need to be afraid of anything.

Talking German does not need to be overly complicated.
See this statement as a promise, as I will make it super easy for you to use simple common used words to be able to enjoy great conversations with everyone else after our lessons without feeling awkward.
I prefer to establish solid confidence over time when speaking German by using simple but the proper wording. Therefore everyday topics are a great base to start with and can include anything from holidays to work stories or world wide conflicts - whatever makes you feel comfortable.
