Hi, I’m Meijie. I’m from Hengshui, a quiet northern city in China. I graduated in Marketing and worked for five years in the film and entertainment industry, where I gained experience managing projects and connecting with people. Last year, I traveled and lived in Bangkok and Bali. I love meeting people from around the world, and now I’ve returned home to focus on teaching Chinese as my main professional path. I’ve been teaching Chinese online for about a year, focusing on one-on-one lessons that are tailored to each student’s goals and interests. I enjoy creating practical, engaging, and enjoyable lessons so students can confidently use Chinese in daily life, travel, or work. I offer personalized lessons for HSK preparation, business Chinese, travel, or everyday conversation. Lessons can include storytelling, real-life role-play, or watching and discussing videos together. My teaching is goal-oriented, flexible, and conversational, with a focus on making learning interactive and beginner-friendly, so students feel comfortable speaking and practicing from even day one.

Meijie has been a great teacher. In each class we have a brief review of our previous lessons and then continue on to new words and phrases. It never feels too overwhelming and it feels like the proper pace for me. Meijie seems to have a good sense of my level and can adjust each class accordingly. She's an excellent teacher to have classes with.
