The really appealing thing about working with Robert is that in addition to being a good teacher, he is also very well read and thinks deeply about a wide variety of issues. Our hours are filled with conversations that would be stimulating and challenging in any language- that they’re in German makes it a great learning experience

Robert is an incredibly outstanding language teacher who has a tremendous feel for teaching. He is patient, always provides creative and helpful explanations that facilitate memorizing vocabulary and grammar, is flexible and attentive to student needs and interests, approaches teaching in an organized and methodical manner, and has interesting things to say about pretty much any topic you can think of.
