I was born and raised in London, hold a Level 5 TEFL qualification, and have a lifelong passion for languages and other cultures.
I grew up bilingual (English and Serbian), studied modern languages at university, and also speak Russian. I know firsthand how hard it can be to express yourself in another language!
My lessons are conversational and suited to intermediate learners. Aside from grammar, we'll focus on colloquialisms and quirks that you might not see in textbooks i.e. the stuff that helps you stop translating and start sounding like yourself in English. If you've hit a confidence plateau, then I'm here to help.
Interests outside teaching: music, running, reading, cultural exchange, boxing.

TeacherAs someone with family and close friends in Eastern Europe who don't speak English as a native language, I have informally helped them improve their level of English, as I am able to bridge between English and Serbian, translating things on the spot for my friends and family members for whom English is not their first language. This has given me a practical understanding of the challenges non-native speakers face.
