I had my first lesson with Suyuan today as a complete beginner. She was very friendly and I liked her energy, I can't wait for my next lesson!

I've been studying with Suyuan laoshi for about a month now, and I'm so glad I found her! Every lesson she helps me build out fuller sentences, expands my vocabulary, and gently corrects my pronunciation without making me feel self-conscious about it. This teacher was very nice and extremely productive on the first class. She speaks Chinese perfectly with a standard accent. I didn't think that I would be able to start learning such a difficult language in an easy manner. She's extremely patient and encouraging. I was able to speak a lot during the class so I felt I got a lot of practice with her. She helped me with my grammar and explained the process of how Chinese works. She gave very good examples of what the Chinese characters means and broke them down so I understood every part of them. I feel it's very easy to start learning with her. I will book a package of her classes. She's totally worth it.
