My name is Takumi.
I was born and raised in Japan and now I live in Osaka.
I love playing video games and eating delicious food with my friends. If you’re a fan of popular games or anything food-related, we’ll be talking in no time!
I got the certificate of Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2022 and I've taught Japanese for over 3 year.

I've worked at a private school and taught children for more than 10 years, so I can provide a kind and enjoyable Japanese learning experience for you.
I'm also learning English online, so I understand the difficulty and challenge that comes with learning a new language, and we can communicate in English whenever necessary.

I highly recommend Takumi as a Japanese teacher. He is very attentive and responsible. Every lesson is focused and productive — no wasted time, just clear progress toward your goals. With Takumi, it's easy to stay on track and achieve what you set out to do. He impressed us so much that we actually bought tickets to Japan, and we'll definitely try to meet him in person. Takumi, thank you for the lesson! Time really flew by. We talked about catching a cold and interesting facts about Indonesia. Had a great chat, hope to continue our lessons next time

Takumi-sensei is a great tutor! He really tries to balance free talk, grammar and homework correction in lessons. He now offers morning classes (in the US) too, so I'd highly recommend booking him if it fits your schedule.
