I teach adults and children. I am a native English speaker from Houston, Texas, USA. My first experience in teaching English was a class for Spanish speakers. I hold a bachelor's degree in Anthropology with minor in Spanish and I have an associate's degree in Cybersecurity. I am a certified EC-6 Teacher in Texas. I am TESOL certified and have my certificate to teach Young Learners. My teaching experience is in teaching piano to students of all ages and classroom teaching. In this profession, I’ve acquired patience, creativity, and knowledge when it comes to tailoring lessons to students’ needs and finding ways to engage even the youngest students. I enjoy learning new things! We can talk about anything. To keep lessons fun and interesting, I like to use audio files, videos, interesting articles, games, presentation slides, and role play. I'm patient, energetic, and like structure so I'll plan the lessons to focus on your needs and goals. I enjoy teaching children, especially beginners! I am currently teaching:
- Conversational English for Adults - we can do student-led talk or structured speaking activities.
- General Kids English - grammar, reading, writing, speaking, listening
- Handwriting for Kids - how to produce print and cursive using the Latin alphabet
