In the classroom, I focus on presenting a full immersion experience. I do so by speaking with students only in Arabic when possible and try to give them a feeling that they are in a different atmosphere. It is important to me that my students learn Arabic, as it is, without looking at it through a foreign lens so that they can think and produce in Arabic without relying on translating as their source of understanding.
