Vicenta

My daughter has been taking lessons with Vicenta for a couple months now and today she met a man who spoke Spanish and she was so excited she could understand him and hold a good conversation with him! Thank you Vicenta! You have been instrumental in helping us learn Spanish!!

Vicenta is a great teacher. She is interested in you progress and talks about issues that are important to you, while teaching at the same time. She uses a conversational style, which is the best way to learn. I will continue to learn with her each week.

Vicenta uses corrections during our conversations and helps me with what I am trying to say when I get stuck on a word or phrase, which is exactly what I at my level (intermediate).

Challenging, fun, a little bit frustrating (because of my 60 year old brain LOL), and very rewarding! Vicenta always surprises me with the amount of patience she shows when I struggle to overcome this Texas accent and learn proper pronunciation!

Vicenta is a very gifted instructor. She goes completely at my pace and helps me in many ways: grammar, listening, pronunciation and insights to the culture. I recommend her highly.

Vicenta has been an amazing teacher! She has helped me go from basic sentences to full conversations about a variety of topics. She is charming, thoughtful, attentive, and most importantly patient and encouraging. Her book recommendations are fantastic and she is very helpful, providing examples and taking the time to get to know your interests so she can help you talk about the things you love. I work in retail and used to freeze up with anxiety when Spanish speakers would come in to shop, but still tried to fumble through helping them as best I could. Now that I have taken weekly lessons with Vicenta I speak clearly, am helpful, and can even make casual conversation with more people in my community than ever before. Muchas gracias Vicenta!
