Hi Wenke here! I'm from China and currently doing my master of Finance in Germany and working here as well. I love learning languages; apart from Mandarin, I also speak English and German fluently. I had several exchange semesters in Taiwan, Frankfurt and London during my studies, through which I got to know many international students, different cultures and languages, and talking with people from different social and cultural backgrounds is something I really enjoy about. A new language for me always means another perspective to know and understand the world better, and I would like to share my perspecive with you and know about your world.

As a high beginner who is mainly self-taught, this was my first lesson on iTalki and I had a really good experience. Wenke is patient and supportive. I learned ways to talk about everyday situations in a more natural way using words I haven’t seen so far in my textbooks. She also used the chat feature to write down the new words and sentence structures to make it easy to review. I’m looking forward to more sessions with her. :)
