I'm a native Russian speaker and a professional Russian and English teacher. I live in Moscow.
I've been teaching English for over 15 years and I have 8-year experience of teaching Russian. I graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University and have a PhD in Linguistics.
I use a teaching method that will let you speak Russian without mistakes very soon. Unlike what most Russian student’s books suggest, we will not focus on conversational topics like family, food and so on. Instead, we will concentrate on learning lexical-grammatical structures used in everyday speech and on conversational practice. Sofia is by far the best Russian teacher I have ever had! Not only is she always prepared with engaging lessons every week, but she also uses a method of learning that is extremely effective for understanding the Russian language. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about learning Russian.

This was my first lesson with Sofia and it went over my expectations by a long shot! She's prepared in every single way you can think of. She also has passion when it comes to getting the accent right which is a big plus!
