Hi! My name is Amanda and I am a certified English teacher from the USA. I am certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) since December 2021 and have a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies and Communication. I currently teach English to new immigrants at a university in Philadelphia and have experience teaching both adults & secondary school students in the U.S. and Spain.
I have taught English for 9+ years and would love to help you improve your English speaking and listening skills. I am passionate about studying Spanish so I know what it feels like to learn a foreign language. Our English lessons will focus on conversation practice. I hope to talk to you soon!
Our English lessons will focus on conversation practice. We will discuss different topics, ranging from food and culture to travel and family. I believe the best way to learn a new language is to speak with a native speaker. I will speak slowly and clearly to help you perfect your English language skills. I offer immediate feedback, both written and verbal, to help you correct your mistakes. I can also help with job interview practice or language test preparation.
My lessons are designed how YOU want them! Do you need to prepare for an interview that will be conducted in English? Do you need to practice English conversation for an upcoming meeting or travel?
