Chill Shi

Highly recommended Chill to tutor your kids. She has been a tutor for my boys since there were 9 years old. It been three good years that they have learned reading, comprehension, writing, homework, and speaking. Highly recommend Chill for your kids.

I've been taking Cantonese lessons with Chill, on average once every 1-2 weeks for two years, and have gone from novice to being able to carry on conversations about daily life, all thanks to Chill! She is very friendly, organized, and tailors the lesson and materials to your interests and background. We worked our way through one textbook, it took about a year to learn commonly used vocabulary, and now we're working our way through a second textbook with a focus on more advanced grammar. Along the way, Chill has supplemented and reinforced the textbook lessons with lots of additional vocabulary, colloquialisms, and current events topics. I am really happy with my progress, Chill makes learning Cantonese super fun and relatively easy. I look forward to my lessons, the hour just flies by! It also helps to practice speaking at home and review flashcards regularly, but the bestestest help has been the one-on-one tutoring with Chill :)

I've lost count how many lessons I've had with Chill. She is such a great tutor and we've grown a really good relationship over these months. I'm comfortable asking her about anything. I love our lessons and how we don't just study HSK but also learn about more casual/ colloquial vocabulary, which is used in everyday Chinese. I can see myself and Chill to keep going until HSK 4+ and staying long life friends!

My boys age 13 look forward to having Chill 3x a week. Chill helps them with their Mandarin homework, reading comprehension, grammar, and conversation. We are lucky to have found Chill as their Mandarin tutor.
