Today, Arik gave useful feedback on a text I had written. He was very kind and encouraging as usual. We've been trying to have little conversations about the book we've been reading together. I'm not really any good at speaking yet, but as Arik is very patient, I'm sure to improve, אבל לאט לאט. But that's the beautiful thing about learning a new language – it's the journey itself which brings joy to the heart. And to have Arik as a guide on this journey makes it all the more enjoyable.

There's still such a long way to go, but I'm confident that, thanks to Arik, I'll be making progress. תודה רבה, אריק!
