Juho

Juho is endlessly patient and encouraging. I sometimes feel like the slowest learner in the history of time, but I never feel unduly judged or rushed. He consistently comes up with ways to help me develop and polish my Finnish.

Juho teaches me colloquial language, which is widely spoken rather than standard. Which makes lessons much valuable, considering the fact that it's almost impossible to find any courses apart from kirjakieli ones on the internet

Juho has been such an amazing guiding force in my Finnish learning journey. Even when I hit lulls in studying he is still ready to work on the current subject despite any lack of effort on my part. But then when I'm taking care of business and getting my studying in, Juho is also ready to keep pushing forward with new topics. Juho is always ready to answer questions from my homework or even random cultural topics. Working with Juho feels natural with no stress and that makes it so much easier to make mistakes and not be afraid to try new things when forming sentences.

As usual, the lessons with Juho are very smooth and satisfying. Juho is a great instructor to learn Finnish with. He's very patient, which is a key component to becoming a great teacher. Thanks again, Juho.

I have lost count of the lessons now. All I know is that I am fully engaged and look forward to each week's lesson. Juho was patient with my slow progress while I got on to a new work schedule. Now I have settled into a good study schedule and with Juho's guidance I have been gaining a rich understanding of the language early on in my Finnish learning journey. We work on pronunciation and cultural differences all while focusing on grammar and moving through the workbook material. It is a seamless experience and has made my language learning journey incredibly fun. Kiitos paljon Juho!
