Hi, I’m Adrian and I am here to help you sound more native!
I have a linguistics degree and my specialty is accent reduction. I've been a speaker at international language conferences and create video courses on American English pronunciation and accent. • I research and analyze sound inventories to compare language's sound structures
• I use simple words to describe complex concepts, e.g. how to articulate particular sounds
• I'm also working on improving my accent in the languages I'm learning

• I've created customized lessons and syllabi for speakers of major languages such as Slavic, Romance, and Chinese languages, as well as for German, Japanese, and Korean

Class structure
• Accent classes are conducted with a shared document where I paste lesson materials
• In conversation classes, I type new vocabulary and grammatical structures into the chatbox
Lesson policy
• I will wait up to 15 minutes for you if you are late. Otherwise the class is forfeit
• No cancellations/rescheduling within 24 hrs of class time
• Cancellations/rescheduling between 24-48 hour hours of class time are discouraged. Pls rebook ASAP so others can take your spot!

Adrian is the best accent coach, I've ever had. Every lesson I learn something new, not only common things but also some little things that I haven't noticed before. And these little things help me to sound more like a native. And I really appreciate that Adrian always corrects my mistakes, not every teacher on Italki really pays attention to it. I started taking accent reduction training with Adrian just over a year ago. In that short time, I can say with 100 percent confidence that he is a superb teacher and an expert in linguistics.
