I’ve had several lessons with Maria, and she’s fantastic! I always look forward to our class. She makes the lessons easy to understand, fun, and goes at a pace that really works for me. She also does a great job of checking in frequently and making sure the lessons are up to my expectations/comfortability.

Maria e’ davvero una ragazza ed una insegnante incredibilmente attenta, premurosa e preparata. E’ molto paziente e molto disponibile. La mia esperienza personale con Maria e’ super positiva. Lei ha un modo di comunicare tranquillo e sereno che ti mette subito nella condizione ottimali per imparare. Una ragazza che oltre ad un garbo e gentilezza che non vanno date per scontanti oggi come oggi, ha un suo metodo personale d’insegnamento davvero comprensibile a noi principiante. Tive uma ótima experiência com essa professora de brasileiro no Italki. Ela sempre foi muito clara e precisa nas explicações, tornando as aulas muito interessantes. Além disso, ela sempre foi pontual e muito disponível. Recomendo muito as aulas dela para qualquer pessoa que queira aprender brasileiro com uma professora competente e profissional.

Maria is a wonderful and patient teacher! I really appreciate the variety of exercises we do - they are fun, challenging, and fitting of my level. And because she teaches in Portuguese and initiates practice chats throughout, I find myself naturally trying to come up with phrases to speak with her despite my fear of getting it wrong! This has helped a lot in honing my speaking skills, which I find to be the most challenging part of language learning.
