Hi there! I am Woncheol. Everyone has their own motivation when starting to learn Korean. I am learning German now because my future fiancèe is german. What is yours? What makes you spend your precious time and money on Korean learning? No matter what it is, I would love to hear your stories behind it. 1. It has all started as a hobby, but now I have my passion for teaching Korean professionally. 2. I have been helping other people with Korean since 2011 through language exchange, Korean language course in the church. 3. I have professionally started teaching Korean in 2016 (I got my teaching certificate from the South Korean government in 2016) 🐶 Beginner Only focus on the Korean alphabet, useful phrases and essential grammars that you definitely need to build the sentences in Korean BY YOURSELF! (No No complicated grammars.) 🐱 Intermediate Learn how the native actually speaks by reading dialogues and discuss things only in Korean. (I will keep correcting your pronunciation and sentences along the way but explain grammars only when they are asked.) 🐱 Advanced We will use Korean news to discuss issues. (Or any other topic in your interest.) + advanced level vocabs - For everyone 1. my own teaching material 2. I send you the powerpoint file that we used during the lesson for your review.

Wonchul is a great teacher. He comes prepared to class. In a half hour class I have enough vocabulary and material to work on for a week. His English is perfect. He has a good feel for when to let me productively struggle and when to jump in and lend help. He has a lot of empathy I guess because he has been a language learner himself. He understands that he might be wrong sometimes (rarely, but it happens) and has gone out of his way to correct himself with good humor. Also, he’s very flexible. He understands that the platform has its quirks and is easily able to make things work, even on the fly. I recommend Wonchul highly.
