Evka Jaminais

I've taken lessons with Evka for several years now — splitting time between French and Spanish. In a word — she is SENSATIONAL as a teacher! She is always upbeat, enthusiastic and totally encouraging — and she is amazing in her ability to keep the conversation interesting and effortlessly ongoing. So we speak entirely in French (and then in the 2nd part of my lesson, entirely in Spanish) — with the advantage for me that on the rare occasions that I need help — her knowledge of English allows her to respond to my every question. But where she truly stands out — is the way in which our lessons are FUN (as well as interesting and educational). THANK YOU!

C’était une excellente et ludique séance avec Evka ! Elle est bien préparée et très interactive. C’était clair qu’elle a vraiment pensé les thèmes sur lesquels on a travaillé pendant la leçon. J’ai beaucoup appris et rigolé en même temps…c’est top ! Merci beaucoup et à la semaine prochaine !

Encouraging, enthusiastic, fun, challenging, engaging--these are just a few words I’d use to describe Evka’s teaching style. She’s truly stellar at what she does! She’s always thoroughly prepared. Each lesson together with Evka flies quickly because she creates such a positive and playful environment for learning. Who knew that learning French could be such a blast?! I wholeheartedly recommend Evka as a tutor. She's a true joy to work with!
