Learning Greek is a magical journey to a fascinating culture. Delicious foods, adventurous history, exotic beaches, crazy people and this deep sense of unpredictability.
I adore the Greek History and Culture and i have been teaching Greek as a foreign language for years. We will have amazing time together and i have no doubt that my experience will help you master the language fast.

I have studied Greek Language and Literature in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since i was a kid, i knew i would become a teacher. I love sharing my knowledge with other people than just making academic research for years.
I started working as a Greek Language Teacher for a company based in Athens that had hundreds of international employees from all over the world and my duty was to teach them Greek fast and efficiently. I had students of all the levels (A1-C2) and various groups and the lessons were online in order to save time for the students.

My teaching philosophy:
-Speaking is essential. You CAN'T learn a language without speaking. So speaking will be the top priority.
-Grammar has to be taught clearly and in an easy way, however Grammar should not prevent the student from speaking. The main purpose is to be able to communicate.
-Reading is also a vital part of every lesson in order to boost the vocabulary and become familiar with Greek texts.
-Homework will be provided after each lesson.
-Listening exercises will be also given as Homework.
-Writing is a great way for further improving for command on the Greek language regardless if you are a beginner or a fluent speaker.

Stefanos is an exceptional Greek teacher. I truly appreciate his teaching methodology, especially how he encourages me to engage actively in speaking Greek during our lessons. I have been taking weekly lessons with Stefanos for over a year. He is a great teacher, easy to work with, and our lessons are always enjoyable and educational. Even on the days when I am speaking nonsense Greek (everyday?) and struggling with the topic, Stefanos is engaged and attentive and the lessons are always productive. So many great sessions with Stefanos! We talk about anything in the world and Stefanos has a knack for helping me improve my vocabulary and grammar without breaking the flow of conversation.
