Hello! My name is Raushan, and I’m from beautiful Kazakhstan. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and hold a Master’s degree in Public Policy, but my true passion lies in languages and teaching. I teach Kazakh and Russian on italki, and I love helping learners connect with these languages in a meaningful and enjoyable way. I’m a friendly and supportive teacher who’s passionate about helping students feel confident and make real progress. In my lessons, I focus on structure and lots of speaking practice. I use textbooks when needed, but I always tailor lessons to what my students actually need: whether that’s improving grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, or fluency.
I gently correct mistakes and give clear, helpful feedback. I’ll point out grammar and pronunciation issues and introduce useful new words: all while keeping the flow of the conversation natural and engaging. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania

Not only is she an excellent language tutor, offering the perfect balance of conversation & feedback, but our conversations end up going in such interesting directions -- from literary guessing games to AI and the future of work. Sehr nettes, professionell und angenehm geführtes Gespräch. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass am Ende noch einmal gezielt auf Fehler eingegangen wurde und ich konkrete Hinweise bekommen habe, wie ich es besser machen kann. Die Lehrkraft wirkt insgesamt sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und gut vorbereitet.
