Hi!
My name is Itzel. I'm from the city of Guadalajara, Mexico but I currently live in Germany after spending 6 years in Sweden, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in Linguistics. Languages are a big part of my daily life, but when I'm not teaching I like to read, learn new things, travel and knit.Ja jako nauczyciel
I love teaching and I love my native language, that's why I decided to become a Spanish teacher. There's nothing more gratifying for me than seeing my students improve their skills, gain confidence and achieve their goals. Anyone can learn a language, all you need is discipline, patience and determination.
As a language learner myself, I know that everyone has different learning styles so I like taking the time to learn what works best for my students so that we can adapt our materials and lessons to be as enjoyable and efficient as possible.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
My lessons are tailored to each of my students. In our trial lesson I like to get to know you and talk about your expectations, your interests and your language goals. I also assess your level during this trial if you've studied Spanish before. During our lessons my main goal is for you to practice your conversational skills, expand your vocabulary and to learn something new every time.
I am fluent in English and Swedish, so while I prefer to use Spanish as much as possible, I can also give insights and explanations in these two languages.Moje materiały dydaktyczne

Como siempre, me encantan mis lecciones con Itzel! He estado tomando clases con ella desde marzo y puedo atestiguar el hecho de que ella es una gran maestra! Ella es paciente, amigable y sabe cuándo intervenir cuando me falta una palabra, necesito ayuda con la gramática, o quiero un equivalente en español de un dicho en inglés. Tomo lecciones de conversación con ella y siempre tiene preguntas interesantes para mantener la conversación fluyendo. La recomendaría a cualquiera sin dudarlo!

My lessons with Itzel are just perfect. She asked me what I most needed help with and I told her I really would love grammar work but mostly done in English so I can grasp the nuances & details that I sometimes miss when listening to grammar lessons in Spanish. And she replied with "No problem!" and instantly was able to pivot to English and give me lessons at precisely my level. She is also the first teacher I have had in almost a year on Italki who has been willing to tackle the ominous Subjunctive with me. Super excited to keep taking lessons with Itzel and deepen my knowledge of Spanish!
