As a teacher, I’m very patient, and I always place my students’ comfort as my top priority, so that they feel relaxed and confident enough to converse in English and improve their skills.
I have two years of experience teaching students, and I also have many years of experience studying a variety of languages here on Italki.

My teaching style is interactive and supportive. In reading lessons, we read and talk together to build comprehension, pronunciation, and critical thinking. I also offer conversation and writing lessons to help students express themselves more clearly and naturally. I encourage open discussion and create a comfortable space where students feel confident sharing their ideas.
After the lesson, I also type up a detailed list of feedback and notes for my student to practice on their own, including:
- Errors the student makes
- A vocabulary list
- Grammar explanations
- Links to helpful and fun exercises, games, videos, or websites

Emma is kind and always listens to my poor English until the end and tries to understand me.
Even though I was nervous and shy at first, I’m sure that if I keep taking classes with her, one day I’ll be able to speak freely just like her.
I’ve always wanted to take lessons with a tutor who has an authentic American accent, and I think this is such a great opportunity!
