I am a full-time online English teacher and I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, playing board games like D&D and Pathfinder as well as others, learning languages, playing guitar/writing songs and traveling the world. I love teaching IELTS and Business English because it helps my clients accomplish their dreams and goals. I have been teaching the IELTS online for over 2+ years now and have helped many clients achieve their scores of 7+ on all four sections, ESPECIALLY writing. As a teacher I focus on total language immersion in the classroom while giving my students lots of examples and going through detailed lessons with lots of conversational and listening practice both in and out of the classroom. The online teaching platform that I for my IELTS students is specifically targeted in helping the achieve scores of 7+ through specific lessons for each section and question type including homework assignments. First I send my students a detailed ASSESSMENT test to find out exactly what they need help with and what they do well. I love to give lots of examples and practice in the lesson and give lots of homework, reading, listening and writing assignments for both my GENERAL English students and my IELTS students. The specialized platforms that I use allow me to generate detailed lesson plans for my students and help us track your progress and set goals! Language and Cultural AssistantIn the BEDA program in Madrid I taught in a local private school. I taught ages 4-18 5 days a week for upwards of 4-5 hours a day. I never thought about the units and intervals in task 1before I take James’ class . And you are able to create your ideas on writing. Moreover, the vibe is light since James is friendly and patient!

It was a great IELTS writing lesson! James brought up a few really good points that would definitely improve my essays.
The strong writing strategy he has doesn't leave a chance to IELTS examiners ;)

James is a very helpful teacher. With his guidance, I obtained a 9 in IELTS speaking. He helped me in using adjectives and how to describe things in details and draw a picture by words, which reaches examiners’ expectation. Recommend James to all the people who need to reach target scores in IELTS.
