Joni is incredible, exactly what you want in a teacher! In a very short time (about 3 weeks) I have gone from knowing two words to having full conversations the entire hour. Her way of reviewing what we have gone over and gradually adding in new things every lesson has been incredibly effective. I could not recommend Joni enough!

Joni is great! I can tell she is committed. I am very new to learning and was having trouble with pronunciation. She gave me good advice and described how to make the desired sound. She even made a video for me so that I can practice. 10/10!!!

I've been taking lessons with Joni for a little over a year at this point and it's the best! Over the ~70 lessons I've done, she's always brought a great energy and helped me to get through the tough learning points where you feel like giving up. The notes she gives are very thorough and it's cool to look back and see all of the progress I've made over the months. I would recommend Joni to anyone looking to learn Korean!

After years of not using any Korean, I am just restarting. Joni's energy and examples helped me understand what she was saying. She was patient when it took me a while to get my thoughts in order and find the right words. For beginners and false beginners, she also writes everything in a document, which she sends. So it is easy to catch what she said and it is also easy to review.

Joni was really nice. I felt really comfortable speaking with her and she was able to clear some things up for me when it came to learning Korean. She was patient and her teaching methods are great. Look forward to continuing learning from her.
