One day, I'll sit down and write out a proper review for Jayson. For now, I'll just say that he is an amazing Chinese teacher and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from him.

This week Jayson prepared some material specifically to help when I go to China - much appreciated.

Jayson was very patient and helpful, it was my first Chinese lesson and we went through the basics, learning Pinyin and the 4 tones used in the language, I would definitely recommend this teacher, will be continuing my chinesd sessions with him and I am confident I will improve in no time. Jayson is a fantastic teacher. He’s very good at using simple language to explain complicated words, grammar, and concepts (all in Chinese). When I don’t understand something, he patiently takes the time to explain it in a new way. He gently corrects me when I make mistakes, ensuring I continue to improve and don’t make habits out of my mistakes, all without ever making me feel bad or as though I’m failing. He rarely uses English and expects me to use the Chinese I already know express myself, ask questions, and engage with him and the content. And when I don’t know or can’t remember the words I need to express myself, he helps me find or learn them. I’m grateful to have found such a great teacher.
